Singapore CV Sample page 2
Other experiences
This section is important to highlight in your resume. Singaporean employers are generally very interested in extra-curricular activities and voluntary work of job candidates; it is a good way to determine whether a candidate has leadership potential and gives a good indication of his/her soft skills. International experience is also highly valued so, if applicable, mention your gap year travel or voluntary work abroad, linking the obtained skills and knowledge to job requirements.
Skills and Training
Highlight special skills that you have and any additional training that is relevant to the job. Put an emphasis on your technical, interpersonal and motivational skills, as Singaporean employers highly value them.
References
Do not include referees on your resume. But do mention you can make them available if requested. Make a separate reference list that you can provide if your prospective employer asks for it, indicating the referee’s job title, contact details and your relation to the referee. You may use previous employers and supervisors, however do not include family members.
