Start your CV by stating your name and contact information. A CV picture is not necessary. Keep in mind that the goal of your Indian CV is to catch the recruiters’ interest so that they invite you for an interview. Therefore a tailor-made CV is needed for every position you apply to.
Professional Objective
Briefly state your career objective. Make sure that you are clear and to the point. Most Indian CVs start with this section, as it is an effective way for candidates to catch a recruiter’s attention and market yourself in the most efficient manner.
Personality
Do sell yourself to your prospective employer in this section! This is not the section for modesty according to the Indians
Work Experience
Besides your title, role description, and key responsibilities within a company, it is advisable to include all relevant projects and other activities done.
Achievements
The aim of your CV is to get invited for that job interview: hence your CV is your marketing instrument, therefore list significant achievements.
Academic Background
Make sure you include all your educational experience, and give detailed information with respect to your area of expertise. If applicable, state awards or distinctions.
